This Privacy Policy explains how TaskCamp processes Company Data and Personal Data in connection with the Service. Capitalized terms used in this Privacy Policy have the meaning given to them in the TaskCamp Terms of Use.

1. Scope of this Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how TaskCamp processes Company Data and Personal Data in connection with the Service.

The Service is primarily intended for the management of Company data and team collaboration. In the course of providing the Service, TaskCamp may process information relating to Users and to other individuals whose information is uploaded to the Service by a Company or by Users acting on its behalf.

2. Data Stored in the Service

2.1.

The Service is primarily intended for the management of Company data, including workspaces, projects, tasks, comments, files, internal notes, team structures, roles, communications, and other materials uploaded or created in the course of using the Service.

2.2.

All data, materials, and content uploaded, created, or stored in the Service by Users on behalf of a Company remain the property of that Company or of the person or entity determined under the internal relationship between the Company and such Users. TaskCamp does not acquire ownership of such data.

2.3.

Because the Service is used to organize team collaboration, Company data may include information relating to individuals, including Users, employees, representatives, contractors, clients, and other persons whose information is entered into the Service by the Company or by Users acting on its behalf.

2.4.

With respect to Company data, the Company that uses the Service is the data controller, and TaskCamp acts as a data processor on the Company's instructions. If you are an end user whose information was entered into the Service by a Company, requests concerning the deletion of your data should be addressed first to that Company (the owner or administrator of your company), which controls the data in its workspace.

3. Categories of Data Processed

TaskCamp may process:

• Account and profile data;
• information about a User's affiliation with a Company, including role, title, department, or team;
• information contained in tasks, projects, comments, chats, attachments, and other materials stored in the Service;
• technical usage data, including device information, IP addresses, session data, interface activity logs, security logs, and system events;
• payment-related information to the extent necessary for billing, accounting, refunds, fraud prevention, and customer support;
• any other data voluntarily uploaded or entered into the Service by the User or the Company.

4. Purposes of Processing

TaskCamp processes data only to the extent necessary to:

• provide access to the Service and its features;
• manage Accounts, Companies, permissions, and workspaces;
• enable collaboration within Companies;
• store, display, transfer, and back up data;
• provide support and respond to requests;
• maintain security and prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access;
• manage subscriptions, payments, refunds, accounting, and compliance;
• improve, maintain, and support the Service;
• comply with applicable legal obligations.

5. Legal Basis for Processing

TaskCamp processes data as necessary for the performance of this document, for the provision, maintenance, and security of the Service, for legitimate business interests related to operating and improving the Service, for compliance with applicable legal obligations, and on other grounds permitted by applicable law.

6. Third-Party Infrastructure and Service Providers

6.1.

TaskCamp may use third-party service providers and infrastructure, including cloud hosting, storage, communications, analytics, security, and payment providers, to the extent necessary for the operation of the Service.

6.2.

TaskCamp may share data with such providers only to the extent reasonably necessary for hosting, technical support, communications, billing, payment processing, fraud prevention, analytics, security, backups, and compliance.

6.3. Diagnostics and technical data.

To detect and fix errors, TaskCamp uses a third-party error-monitoring provider. When an error occurs, diagnostic data may be processed, including browser and operating system type, application version, a user identifier and email, and the sequence of actions that preceded the error. This diagnostic data is retained for a limited period and then deleted automatically.

7. Payment Data

Bank card details are entered directly on the secure page of the relevant payment provider and are not stored by TaskCamp, except for limited payment-related information such as payment status, amount, date, tokenized payment method reference, and other information reasonably necessary for billing, renewals, refunds, reconciliation, and fraud prevention.

8. International Data Transfers

In order to operate the Service, data may be processed, stored, transferred, or backed up using infrastructure located outside the User's country of residence. Such processing may include cross-border or international transfers where necessary for hosting, support, security, payments, backup, or general technical operation of the Service, subject to applicable law.

9. Security Measures

TaskCamp takes reasonable legal, organizational, and technical measures designed to protect data against unauthorized or accidental access, destruction, modification, blocking, copying, disclosure, or other unlawful processing, including access controls, protection of transmission channels, logging, and general infrastructure security measures.

10. Retention and Deletion

Deletion of personal data follows a single mechanism, regardless of a User's role, and occurs in the following situations:

• On request — a User may request deletion of their personal data by emailing hello@taskcamp.app or by contacting the owner or administrator of their company. On such a request we remove the personal identifiers associated with the account (sign-in email, contact details, device notification tokens, personal inbox) and revoke access.
• On company deletion — the company owner deletes the company, and all of its data is removed, including payment-related data and the stored payment method.
• Automatically — diagnostic and technical data is retained for a limited period and then deleted automatically.

Authorship of work content (who created a task or wrote a comment or message) is retained as part of the company's business records, for the integrity of history and accountability, and is removed together with the company.

Data may be retained where necessary for compliance with legal obligations, accounting and tax purposes, dispute resolution, fraud prevention and security, backup and disaster recovery, or enforcement of this document. Instructions for deleting your account and data are also available at taskcamp.app/delete-account.

11. Responsibility for Uploaded Data

Each Company and each User acting on its behalf is responsible for the legality, accuracy, and appropriateness of the data uploaded to the Service, including ensuring that they have the necessary rights and lawful basis to upload information relating to individuals.

12. Rights and Requests

Subject to applicable law, a User or other individual whose Personal Data is processed in connection with the Service may have the right to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or restriction of processing of their Personal Data, or to object to certain processing activities.

Where TaskCamp processes data on behalf of a Company, such requests may need to be directed first to the relevant Company, which controls the uploaded data in its workspace.

13. Changes to this Privacy Policy

TaskCamp may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version becomes effective upon publication on the Service website, unless a different effective date is stated.
