Delete your account and data
TaskCamp is a workspace for team collaboration. Data created in the Service belongs to the company that uses TaskCamp: the company is the data controller, and TaskCamp acts as a processor on its instructions.
What personal data we collect from you
- To sign in, we require only your email address, used for authentication.
- Your first and last name are entered in the Service (they are required when your profile is created); job title and phone are optional.
- We do not collect your location or phone contacts. When you sign in with Google, only your email address is used.
Delete the entire company (account owners)
- Sign in to TaskCamp on the web or in the Android app.
- Open Settings → Company settings → Delete company.
- Type the company name to confirm.
- The company and all its data are scheduled for deletion and can be restored within 30 days. After that, deletion is permanent (except data we must retain by law).
This deletes tasks, lists, comments and activity history; chat messages, files and attachments; all members' access to the workspace; and cancels the recurring subscription, including the stored payment method.
Delete your personal data (any member)
The mechanism is the same regardless of your role. Data about members belongs to the company, so account lifecycle within a company — deactivation, profile changes, and access removal — is handled by the company owner or administrator.
To request deletion of your personal data, contact the owner or administrator of your company, or email us at hello@taskcamp.app. On such a request we remove the personal identifiers associated with your account (sign-in email, contact details, device notification tokens, personal inbox) and revoke your access to the Service.
Authorship of work content — who wrote a comment or message, who created a task — is retained as part of the company's business records, for the integrity of history and accountability. This content belongs to the company and is deleted together with the company or by decision of its owner.
Data retention
Some data may be retained after deletion where necessary to comply with legal obligations, for accounting and tax purposes, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, and security. Diagnostic data (error logs) is held by our error-monitoring provider for a limited period and then deleted automatically.
